American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Frisco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Frisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

One of the best ice cream spots in the area. Fantastic selection of ice cream, with 40+ flavor’s at a great location with ample space for groups and families to enjoy their ice cream. The staff which seemed to be high school kids or very young adults at best were exceptionally well trained and I was blown away by the customer service. Left the store with 4 quarts of ice cream and a milkshake. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Yum!! I'm not really an icecream or sweets gal but I've stumbled upon here on a hot day, and it's been the yummiest icecream I've ever had. So many flavors! My favorite was the Blue Monster and Mango Sorbet, but tbh, all flavors tasted great. Will definitely be coming back many times during the summer.

I wasted $10.00 on 2 ice cream scoops. Yes it came to $10.00 after I left a tip. It started melting before I was even able to walk to my car. I will not return here. Such a shame because the Handel’s on Eldorado is much better but this location would have been great as it’s close to my house. The owner needs to do better so they don’t loose customers. I’m surly not the only unhappy customer. I’m just the only one to leave a bad review to let others know. I’d hate for them to waste $$ on a pile of liquid. I posted pictures so you can see what you get. The pictures were taken 1 minute after I left the store. This is unacceptable!

Such great experience at this Handel’s. I’ve been to other Handel’s but this is super friendly. As soon as I walked, I was greeted with a big smile. Got to try man different flavors too and I didn’t even ask. The samples were all so good makes it hard to decision on what to get. Will have to go back there again and for sure this is the place to bed.

The new location is even better than our frequent previous haunt in McKinney. The new spring flavors are Pineapple upside down and Raspberry sorry, they are both brilliant. I personally liked the Pineapple upside down and ordered it double scooped with Bluebell cobbler. The upside down was so good that I went shopping for ingredients to a Pineapple upside down cake that I intend to make at home as soon as the fresh pineapple ripens. Going to go back for more helpings soon
